Meet Our New Additions – Bo and Luke (OV-10 Bronco Build)
What aircraft would be complete without someone to fly it? None! So we found some suitable pilots to man our OV-10 Bronco – Bo and Luke… and lets just say, these boys are always up to something!
Take a look at the meticulous details on the the cockpit gauges.
We got to see inside his hangar, now watch him fly! Follow along with Ramy (RamyRC) and Tyler Perry as they maiden three different aircraft! Learn about how Tyler Perry got involved in the sport, his support for young pilots, and the “Falconstein”. An amazing video, with two amazing pilots, flying some pretty amazing custom-built aircraft.
PLUS- if you listen closely, you can hear the Jeti Duplex voice output and timers during flight!
If you are setting up your aircraft for the first time, or adding to an existing set up, installing a Jeti current/voltage/capacity telemetry sensor (MUI) can look like a difficult process, but it doesn’t have to be!
Typically, when installing a MUI sensor, you would splice into and solder together the red (positive) lead on your electronic speed controller (ESC) to the lead on the MUI sensor. Then you would solder your connectors and connect to your battery as usual. This is often difficult to complete due to the limited length on the ESC leads.
We have a solution – instead of splicing into your ESC leads, simply create a harness. With a set of your favorite connectors, a length of wire in the proper gauge, and your MUI sensor, you can quickly create a harness that is simple to install.
If you take a look at the diagram posted below, you will see that we soldered connectors onto the MUI sensor. The second step was taking another piece of a similar gauge wire, soldering this into the negative side of the connectors, and making an extension. Now we can connect the MUI sensor in between our ESC and battery without any issues!
Check out this awesome video from Ramy RC! It shows an inside view of Tyler Perry’s RC hangar… and his RC Models. Bet you’ll never guess what some of his planes are running. 🙂 Follow Ramy RC to see more!
Check out this short clip of our OV-10 Bronco and how we utilized the timed sequence functionality on our Jeti DC-24. We set it up to retract our landing gear and close our bay doors one at a time.
The Windex 1200C is a powered sailplane for amateurs construction build by WINDEXAIR AB. Windex 1200c is primarily a high-performance sailplane, but its unique concept with a low-drag fin-mounted engine installation and a variable-pitch propeller turns it also into an efficient touring aircraft with a cruising speed of 210km/h (130 mph). In addition to this the airframe of Windex 1200C is designed for aerobatic routine. The model is very well reproduced and belongs into the super scale class, with its outstanding cockpit interior, beautiful gel-coated finish and excellent flying characteristics. Flying is just amazing due to the acceptable wing loading, it thermals well without any bad behavior and smooth and predictable handling.
But, what are we running in it?!? Jeti of course! We have no worry when it comes to this guy. Jeti’s redundancy gives us that piece of mind we need to focus on our flying. Check it out.

Congratulations to Jeti Model Team Pilot Gernot Bruckmann! He took home a win in the 2023 Swiss Indoor Open Masters World Cup (that’s a mouthful) in both the F3P and F3P AFM categories! Now on to the World Championship next month! Good Luck!
Often times getting into the nitty gritty of Jeti programing can get complicated. For this, we created our YouTube Channel where we uploaded many videos showing users “How Tos” and “Step by Steps”. Many of these videos are an excellent tool, but we aren’t the only ones who decided to do this.
Harry Curzon, an avid Jeti user, has compiled his very own set of Jeti videos and we love them. They are in-depth and easy to follow. So, head on over to his YouTube Channel, hit “subscribe”, and take a look at his catalog of videos. We find them extremely helpful and consider them a valuable tool to aid in becoming a Jeti Master.
The Mezon EVO series speed controllers are sure to impress. Like their predecessor (the Mezon Pro), the Mezon EVOs offer complete telemetry capabilities with the added convenience of EX Bus full system integration – all which are completely programmable through device explorer on your transmitter. However, unlike the Mezon Pro, the EVO series offers multi-application capabilities. You now have the option to choose applications for planes, gliders, acro planes, f3A planes, helicopters, cars, or boats. In addition, the setup wizard in the Jeti transmitter allows for a quicker and more intuitive setup of the controller. If you do not run Jeti, you can still take full advantage of the Mezon EVO, simply use Jeti Studio on your computer to complete setup.
Each Mezon EVO, with exception of the slim version, offer a well fitted heatsink to aid in effective cooling during product use. No matter which size you choose, the Mezon EVO series brushless speed controllers are the right choice for any of your next projects.
Features:
Device Explorer/EX Bus system integration using DS/DC line of Jeti transmitters
Suitable for wide range of applications (Heli/Aerobatic/3D/EDF/Boat/Car)
Real-time telemetry with full data logging and remote data reset
Wirelessly adjustable BEC voltage output (5V – 8.4V)
Wirelessly adjustable motor brake, timing, switching frequency and much more
Wirelessly adjustable Min/Max limits, cut-off voltage & protection settings
All Mezon EVO ESCs are firmware updatable (Jeti Studio)
Here is a great video from Jeti user Harry Curzon on Mezon EVO set up.
