The Servo Channel Expander SE6 is a device that converts serial bus signal to standard PWM servo outputs. It offers up to six configurable servo outputs with optional period and fail-safe setting.

The SE6 is a perfect choice for models with complex wing or tail mechanics where multiple servos may be connected to a primary receiver using just a single cable. In addition, if you are running out of receiver channels simply connect the SE6 to the receiver serial line and freely assign its own output channels.

Easy installation, Attach the required servos to the SE6 servo expander. Connect the receiver using its output port with serial data option. The SE6 uses the MR30 connector for primary data input. Turn on the transmitter and apply the appropriate power source to the receiver. The status LED starts blinking as soon as the SE6 detects signal on the serial line.

After receiving numerous questions regarding getting extra channels while using Jeti Central Box 210/220 we have come up with elegant configuration that uses power from CB210/220 servo port 9/10 for Central Box 100. This way you can have up to 20 high power servos connected to the system and still have full battery telemetry & redundancy.

If you connect Telemetry to the CB100 and use CB100 only for noncritical functions (Gyro, Lights, Airbrakes…) you can get away with a single power lead and go up to 22 servos.

This week James will be talking our new Elite series devices including the awaited in-line poly fuses and the Voltario S30 sensor and T30 switch. Jeti REX Assist receivers allow you to expand the functionality of your system by adding the variometer function. With Jeti system you only pay for features that you will actually use, but you will keep your options open if your needs change.

Variometer function in the Assist receivers requires purchase of the Vario software module through swshop.jetimodel.com. If you are using a DS-12, the transmitter may require the software module for vario be purchased through swshop.jetimodel.com.

Variometer is a system that measures atmospheric pressure and using the obtained data, it calculates the altitude above sea level, airspeed, and the rate of climb as well as the rate of descent. Changes in climb and descent rates are signaled as well. The sensor also alerts you if any alarm setting is exceeded.

Our new Magnetic ON/OFF Position Sensor will allow you to trigger events based on the True/False signal sent to your Jeti receiver. This is especially important in applications like gear doors, Up and Go systems for sailplanes, and scale features like opening canopies or gear doors.

You will install the magnet on the moving side of your opening and the sensor on the fixed side; allowing you to know when it is closed or open. This signal can then be used in logical switching to prevent accidents from occurring. Imagine a safety lockout that prevents your gear from raising/lowering unless the doors are opened first.

Multiple Position Sensors can be linked in a serial configuration and sent to a single input to signal a True/False condition for a set of doors. A True signal is only achieved when all of the sensors are in agreement.
