New Telemetry Sensor: MAlti
We have just gotten the newest Jeti sensor– the MAlti. The MAlti is a new altitude sensor that uses the atmospheric pressure to calculate the distance above sea level, much like the MVario2. It is a great sensor if you need a basic altimeter. It measures three different parameters, air pressure, altitude, and the temperature of your sensor. The cost of the sensor will save you about 35 dollars from the MVario2. Click the link below to go to the product page.
New Jeti DSM ESC Switch
The DSM ESC from Jeti is dual input redundant electronic switch designed to operate with included magnetic key. The advantage of an electronic switch is that it offers a virtual unlimited ON/OFF cycles, unlike mechanically operated switches.
The redundant DSM ESC switch automatically monitors and switches between two power supplies (Two Rx Batteries, Rx Battery & ESC or Two ESCs) keeping your system operational. In a case of using two ESCs the throttle signal from the receiver is supplied to both controllers simultaneously.
Flysafe Training Was A Success
The Atlanta Flysafe Training was a great experience to be a part of. Charles Eide, the founder, kick started the training on Friday with a huge welcome. After the welcome, the training courses started, covering topics from a basic introduction to RC all the way up to the business aspects of aerial photography. Atlanta Hobby kept the excitement going with amazing product demonstrations including the brand new Inspire 1 4K quad. Not only was this a training course, there were raffle giveaways that excited almost everyone in attendance. A giant hats off to the guys at Flysafe, and Congrats to all the students!
